Seriously, tho — I understand your frustration – brotherhood’s stuck in a worldview of competition against the denominations, when the world has moved on.
Even when it looked like it was working (fastest growing denom. In the 50s or whatever the CoC legend is), where did it get us?
Preach the Jesus of Scripture, and let the chips fall where they may! (I can say stuff like that real flippantly because I’m a bible class teacher! They can’t afford to fire me)
