Who will you be at the end of this year? What kind of faith will you have? How close will you be with Jesus? Your present actions will have a great impact on your future.
You are in control. More than what the preacher does or doesn’t do. More than what the church provides or doesn’t provide. Your relationship with Jesus is about what you do or don’t do. Or maybe better said, What you allow God and Jesus to do.
Of course, we are all here to help each other encourage one another but your soul is in your hands.
Yes, it is all about God and what He does. But how will you react and respond to what He does or what He doesn’t do? Will you hear His call, His Will, and follow? As the old hymn cuts to the heart by asking, “what will you do with Jesus?” That’s more than your initial salvation. What will you do with Jesus on Thursday at 10:00 a.m.? What will you do with Jesus on Monday morning and Friday night?
Yes, Satan will continue to prowl and attack and deceive. But how will you fight, respond, recover?
There is an old proverb that says, “If you want to know your past – look into your present conditions. If you want to know your future – look into your present actions.”
God is waiting on you. God is calling you. God wants you. What are you going to do today and tomorrow and the next day?
